TENDER NOTICE

Ref. No.: SLN/RS/82/680 dated 03.02.2012.

Quotations are invited in two part (Part –I & Part – II) for procurement of the following furniture from the reputed furniture dealers, authorized dealers and general order suppliers having experience in the same field.

List of furniture for which rate to be quoted.

(1) Revolving Chair (High back) 10 Nos.
(2) Steel chair with arm 22 Nos.
(3) Plastic Module chair 59 Nos.
(4) Computer chair (Big back, armless) 13 Nos.
(5) Steel chair Executives with arm 10 Nos.
(6) Full Secretariat table (3drawer ,1 cupboard 60”x36”x30”) 04 Nos.
(7) Half Secretariat table(3 drawer 48”x30”x30”) 07 Nos
(8) Computer table with one drawer 36”x18”x30”) 09 Nos.
(9) Printer table with cupboard 09 Nos.
(10) Ordinary table (wooden) 36”x18”x30” 08 Nos.
(11) Filing Cabinet (4 drawers) 54”x27 ½”x18 ½” 12 Nos.
(12) Steel Office Almirah with 4 shelves 78”x34”x22”

    The tender is due for submission up to 2-30 P.M. on 29.02.2012.
    The tender will be opened before attending tenderer at 3.00 P.M. on 29.02.2012.

Terms & conditions:

1. Credentials: The self attested copy of purchase orders awarded by different Govt./Semi Govt./Subsidiaries of CIL and any other sources may be enclosed.
2. Declaration: A declaration that they have not been banned or de-listed by any Govt. or quasi Govt. Agencies or Public Sector Undertakings must be clearly stated. If declaration is not given, the bid will be rejected as a non-responsive.
3. Basis of price: The rate must be quoted on F.O.R. Destination basis.
4. Validity of Offer: Price must be quoted on F.O.R. Destination basis and must be valid for 120 days.
5. Payment terms: As per general conditions of contract i,e, within 30 days of receipt and acceptance of materials or submission of bill whichever is later.
6. Tax Clearance: Tenderer has to submit the Xerox copy of their Income Tax PAN card with the copy of last Income Tax assessment and mention the number of Bank A/C with Bankers name in the offer. The VAT regn. No. also to be mentioned.
7. Earnest Money: An earnest money @ 2% (two percent) of the estimated value of Rs. 5,00,000/- i,e, Rs. 10,000/- to be deposited along with the tender in the form of Bank Draft drawn in favour of ‘Eastern Coalfields Ltd., A/c Salanpur Area’, payable at Asansol. For unsuccessful tenderers, earnest money will be refunded immediately after finalization of tender.
8. Security Money: The successful tenderers have to deposit 10% of the value of the purchase order in the form of Bank Draft before placement of the order that will be retained during the course of contract and will not carry any interest. The security money will be refunded after satisfactory execution of the work.
9. Delivery: Delivery of the ordered materials to be completed within 31st March 2012. In case the supplier fails to execute the order , suitable penal action shall be taken with forfeiture of earnest money/security deposit.
10. The furniture must be guaranteed for a minimum of 12 months from the date of supply.
